DO YOU WANT TO USE YOUR ACUPUNCTURE BENEFITS??
Many insurance companies require you to see a registered acupuncturist (Stuart Flood) in order to use your acupuncture benefits. That being said, you could see a chiropractor for acupuncture but billing would come out of chiropractic benefits. The same idea when seeing a massage therapist, or a physiotherapist.
Keep in mind, many policies will max how much they cover per visit. Often times companies will allot more per registered acupuncturist visit than a chiropractor visit. The patient would be responsible for the remaining amount.

Please check your insurance policy before you book an appointment.

IMPORTANT!

WHAT ARE YOUR SYMPTOMS?
If you are experiencing only muscle and nerve related symptoms you would be safe to see any one of our providers. For symptoms that go beyond muscles and nerves, you will benefit more from TCM acupuncture.

DRY NEEDLING & WESTERN MEDICAL ACUPUNCTURE (WMA)

Dry needling and Western Medical Acupuncture (WMA) are extremely similar. It's a treatment technique where needles are inserted into trigger points targeting the affected muscles and their nerve pathways to help treat muscle pain, nerve pain and movement issues. The goal is to release muscle tension, improve blood flow, and reduce pain.

It is used as part of a broader treatment approach that can include exercises, stretches, along with massage therapy, chiropractic, physiotherapy, and other therapies to further decrease the pain and improve motion.
