Cupping-Massage.jpg

Myofascial Cupping

Cupping is a therapy in which plastic cups are suctioned onto the skin’s surface through negative pressure. Oil or lotion is first applied to the area being treated and the cup is moved around to mobilize the tissue. Marks left from cupping may occur after treatment.

Pregnancy Massage

Our RMTs use a body cushion for a more comfortable prenatal massage position. The pillow provides a stable, more comfortable support for face down or side-lying. It can be used to full term in most cases. It adjusts to clients of all shapes and sizes and relieves breast discomfort. Please request a pregnancy massage when you book an appointment.

Benefits of Prenatal Massage Therapy:
  • Reduces swelling of feet and ankles

  • Improves skin elasticity

  • Improves sleep

  • Improves digestion

  • Reduces pelvic pain

  • Relaxes and soothes baby

RAPID NEUROFASCIAL  STRETCHING

Rapid Release is an intense soft tissue, movement-based technique that addresses the central nervous system’s role in alleviating pain, tension and restrictions within muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia and nerves.

Treating the body at the neurological level stimulates a reprogramming of the tissue allowing tight muscles to relax, range of motion to be restored, and pain to be reduced.

Conditions treated with rapid Release:
  • Migraines/Headaches

  • Back pain

  • Bursitis/Tendinitis

  • Carpal tunnel

  • Frozen shoulder

  • Plantar fasciitis

  • Sacroiliac dysfunction

  • Shin splints

  • Tennis/Golfer’s elbow

  • TMJ/Whiplash

HOW IT WORKS
Hypersensitive areas are treated by combining precisely directed tension with very specific patient movements.  As the neurological system is being stimulated muscle tone is restored to normal function.

Hot Stone Massage

Hot Stone Massage

A hot stone massage is where the therapist uses smooth, heated stones as an extension of their own hands, or by placing them at key points on the body. The heat can be both deeply relaxing and help to warm up and relieve tight muscles.

Graston Technique is an innovative, patented form of instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization that enables providers to effectively break down scar tissue and fascial restrictions. The technique utilizes specially designed stainless-steel instruments to specifically detect and effectively treat areas exhibiting soft tissue fibrosis or chronic inflammation. Graston treatments can be done by our massage therapist Alisha McIntosh or one of our chiropractors.
