PHYSIOTHERAPY

Physiotherapists are trained in the musculoskeletal assessment, treatment, strengthening and conditioning principles.

WHAT IS PHYSIOTHERAPY?

They can treat both acute injuries and chronic conditions, with a combination of joint and soft tissue mobilization, stretching, exercises, and modalities. The combination of manual therapy and corrective exercises is highly effective in restoring the body’s proper function!

I'm Kevin Boyd

I have been a physiotherapist for over 22 years and have achieved the highest level of orthopaedic certification. I look forward to helping you recover from pain and injury and achieve your functional goals.  The combination of manual therapy and corrective exercises is the key to great outcomes—let me show you how!

THREE STAGES OF CARE

ARE YOU NEW TO US?
HERE'S WHAT TO EXPECT AT YOUR FIRST PHYSIOTHERAPY VISIT.

01

Fill out some intake forms describing you, your health history and your health goals. These can be done digitally upon booking your appointment online, or if you prefer paper forms they are available here.

03

Your physiotherapist will go through the examination findings and explain the diagnosis.

05

We offer direct billing to most benefit plans through Telus Health eclaims. When you are in, please provide us with your insurance information and we will direct bill for your upcoming services.

02

You will consult with your physiotherapist, then he will do a thorough exam, incorporating a gait and mobility assessment, regional movements and strength testing, and tests of the joints, muscles, and nervous system.

04

Your physiotherapist will recommend a rehabilitation program to achieve your goals.
